About Natti Tree & Landscape, Inc.
“Honey, we're pregnant.” That was how it started. After over 20 years of doing arboriculture and landscaping for other companies, Matthew Natti took a year off of work to be a full time papa. In order to continue helping to support the family, while also becoming more independent and self sufficient, a dump truck and chipper was purchased in the summer of 2014. The jobs started to come in, the word started to get out and by the end of 2014 the company was in full swing. As of January 1, 2015 Natti Tree and Landscape is a fully insured, fully functional company ready and willing to serve your outdoor property needs!
About Matthew Natti
Matt graduated from Essex Agricultural and Technical College in 1996, with a degree in Urban Forestry. He passed the Massachusetts Certified Arborist exam the year he graduated and has been doing tree work ever since. Though most of his career has been spent working in Massachusetts, around the Cape Ann area, he has also used his trade as a means of travel. He has done work around New England for friends, family and assisting with emergency cleanups. He spent 4 months doing tree work in Los Angeles, CA after an extensive cross country road trip (paid for, in part by doing small tree jobs along the way). He has also worked internationally, including a short stint in the Caribbean as well as having the great fortune to work for 4 years on the North Island of New Zealand.
Matt is a hard worker, well versed in all aspects of arboriculture. He prides himself on his ability to do do tree work “the old fasion way” using ropes, a harness and an artistic eye. If you ask him to sum up his take on the current industry, he'll tell you “There are too many (tree) companies out there that rely on expensive equipment rather than skill. They have forgotten the simple pleasure of swinging around in the canopy of a mature tree on a summer day. I also feel that the bigger companies have lost sight of the true value of trees...... each one is a living, breathing entity. Trees help control soil erosion. Trees clean the air. Trees add to the overall health and beauty of the landscape. There will always be times when certain trees NEEDS to be removed but I am a strong advocate for exploring various options to suite the clients needs, rather than just cutting down healthy trees for the sake of making a few bucks.” |
